The Committee is responsible for the evaluation, consulting and examination of CSI index methodologies. It offers suggestions to other index operation and business development issues as well.
The Committee members consist of domestic and overseas renowned experts and scholars specializing in index creation, indexing investment, and market research. Domestic members include experts from the China Social Security Fund, insurance institutions, futures companies, consulting firms and academies. Overseas members include famous experts from prominent investment institutions.
Members of the Index Advisory Committee are re-appointed every two years and the decision of the Committee is published in the name of CSI during non-trading hours.
